Henry and Horne’s 2015 holiday party was held in a huge tent at Scottsdale Plaza Resort and this year’s theme was musical, so I was able to find large musical notes for the backdrop that really popped against the black photo booth rental backdrop. The other entertainment was a piano bar, so while the pianos were playing, guests were taking pictures at the photo booth.
This was Digital Expressions Photo Booths fourth holiday party for Henry and Horne. Every year the guests ask who they want at their next holiday party and every year, they want our photo booth year after year. When companies hire our company every year, that says a lot about how good we are, and when the employees want our company at their holiday party year after year, that says it all. There was a lot of photo bombing done, and even the owners of the company were photo bombing the pictures. Looking forward to next year.
Ben and Ciera’s Wedding Reception was our first at The Wright House. I knew that at some point, Digital Expressions Photo Booths would be hired for a photo booth rental and we were excited for this wedding. This was another partnership with Gold Ring Entertainment and, as always, we enjoy every wedding with Greg and Gina.
What I didn’t know is that The Wright House has two buildings — the main building, and Provencal, where Ciera and Ben had their ceremony and reception. Because we like to set up our photo booth rental prior to any ceremony, we arrived at Provencal at around 12:00 p.m. for a 4:00 ceremony and set up in an area just outside of the reception room. I was unable to take a picture of the backdrop prior to the reception beginning because of the sun coming through a portion of the backdrop (for about 30 minutes).
Ciera’s wedding colors were navy and pink so we chose a navy and pink backdrop for the photo booth pictures. Candy, the wedding coordinator was very easy to work with and was extremely accommodating. #photoboothrental #photoboothforwedding
Intel’s 2015 Holiday Party was held at the Pavilion at San Marcos Golf Club. The theme for this year’s party was “Winter Wonderland,” so we chose a sequined silver backdrop with snowflake garland for the photo booth background. We had set up the photo booth and backdrop early and after looking at the colors in the room, I remembered I also had blue garland that would look great on the backdrop — to coincide with the blue colors in the room.
Digital Expressions Photo Booths was also the photo booth company at Intel’s 2013 Holiday Party. Dawn contacted us in 2014 for her holiday party, but we were booked. This year, I contacted Dawn in August (when we usually start booking for December) to save the date.
The guests had a great time. We had a little glitch with the computer at the beginning of the event, but we also extended the photo booth rental an extra fifteen minutes to make up for the time we started late.
Fantastic night is the only way to describe Adam and Becky’s wedding reception. Becky was absolutely stunning and it was certainly obvious to everyone how much Becky and Adam loved each other. Digital Expressions Photo Booths partnered with Gold Ring Entertainment for this event held at Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona. This was not our first wedding at Villa Siena and we were excited to be back. Becky’s event coordinator, Hope, at Villa Siena was fantastic. Hope was extremely helpful and it was a joy working with her for Becky’s wedding. Becky chose a black backdrop for her photo booth rental wedding reception pictures. I love using black as a backdrop for photo booth pictures, as this makes the pictures pop. #photoboothrental #photoboothforwedding #weddingphotobooth #openphotobooth
Sunnyslope High School’s 40-year-class Reunion was held at the Pointe at Squaw Peak on August 10th. The school’s colors are green and white, so I went onto Sunnylope’s website and chose a green from the mascot’s head. The first thing I noticed when we went to set up Digital Expressions Photo Booth’s backdrop was the green color I had chosen for the backdrop was not right. We then decided to just go with white for the backdrop, but then I improvised — as I love to do. I knew the white was too plain and when the cocktail hour was over and nobody would be using the balloons in that area, I incorporated those balloons into the backdrop. Everyone was very excited about the pictures and in particular, the way I was able to incorporate the actual green into the pictures.
These pictures show that no matter what your age, everyone has fun at our photo booths. We were set up next to the bar and there may have been a time when the DJ wondered where everyone was (yes, they were taking pictures). The guests were able to watch what their friends were doing in the photo booth, instead of looking at walls and wondering what was going on inside the booth. Every single person told Ralph and Laura what a great idea our photo booth was — and it was the hit of the night. Plus, everyone took home pictures.
