Sunnyslope High School’s 40-year-class Reunion was held at the Pointe at Squaw Peak on August 10th. The school’s colors are green and white, so I went onto Sunnylope’s website and chose a green from the mascot’s head. The first thing I noticed when we went to set up Digital Expressions Photo Booth’s backdrop was the green color I had chosen for the backdrop was not right. We then decided to just go with white for the backdrop, but then I improvised — as I love to do. I knew the white was too plain and when the cocktail hour was over and nobody would be using the balloons in that area, I incorporated those balloons into the backdrop. Everyone was very excited about the pictures and in particular, the way I was able to incorporate the actual green into the pictures.
These pictures show that no matter what your age, everyone has fun at our photo booths. We were set up next to the bar and there may have been a time when the DJ wondered where everyone was (yes, they were taking pictures). The guests were able to watch what their friends were doing in the photo booth, instead of looking at walls and wondering what was going on inside the booth. Every single person told Ralph and Laura what a great idea our photo booth was — and it was the hit of the night. Plus, everyone took home pictures.
